Oh, hey!

Hey Posy is the accidental flower child of local Fraser Coast creatives, Roxy + Jess. Starting out in June 2017 as a once-a-week pop-up flower shop, Hey Posy soon grew to a slightly busier side-hustle, offering luxe, modern wedding floral designs.

In 2021, Roxy took over Hey Posy and jumped in full time.

Today, Hey Posy is the premier, luxe floral design service in the Fraser Coast and Wide Bay regions. Roxy builds stunning floral masterpieces for weddings and events, alongside hosting a gorgeous range of retail items her Maryborough shopfront.

Visit the studio

You'll find our blooms and gifts tucked in the cutest laneway in Maryborough. Our studio is a shared space with Jessica Gunn Photography (yep, Roxy and Jess are back together!), next door to the best coffee around - Concord St Coffee.

Meet Roxy

Powered by coffee, blooms and the ocean, Roxy made her side-hustle dream a reality going full-time in Hey Posy in 2021.

A creative at heart, she previously worked freelance in communications, graphic design and marketing for fifteen years, and squeezed in a few years teaching high school and primary school as well.

She's a mama to Ned, and more recently became a Labrador mum to Toby who is also quite passionate about hanging out in the home flower studio.

  • Connections

People and their connections are really at the heart of what we do here at Hey Posy. Our flowers both foster connections and reflect them.

  • Supporting Small Business

There’s a hell of a lot of insanely talented, creative and high quality small businesses and brands out there, which is why we LOVE supporting them in as many capacities as we can. Whether by stocking them in our store, collaborating on events or content creation, opening up our space to share, small business and the community around it is something we value highly.

  • Sustainability + Education

We are committed to ongoing education around improving sustainability practices in the floral industry and implementing them in our work and space. We do not wrap our flowers in single-use plastic and use compostable materials in all our wet-wrapped flower deliveries. In nearly all but a few cases, our weddings and event floral designs and installations are floral-foam free - a goal we are consciously working towards in 2023.
